2. Description of Service

DocPrivy is a free, online tool that uses artificial intelligence to extract structured data from uploaded documents. The service supports PDF, JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. Results can be exported in various formats including XLSX, CSV, DOCX, PDF, JSON, and Markdown.

Document processing is powered by Google's Gemini API. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled during processing.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload documents that you do not have the right to process.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service without permission.
• Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the system.
• Use the service for any illegal activity.

4. Service Limitations

• Maximum file size: 4MB per file.
• Maximum batch size: 10 files per session.
• Rate limiting applies to prevent abuse (20 requests per 5-minute window per IP).
• The service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uptime or availability.

5. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI-powered extraction is not perfect. Results may contain errors, especially with low-quality scans, unusual document layouts, or handwritten content. Each extraction includes a confidence indicator (Verified, Needs Review, or Failed) to help you assess reliability.

The Service is provided "as-is". AI-extracted data should always be reviewed for accuracy before being used for financial, legal, or any other official purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data. DocPrivy is not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the extraction results, nor for any decisions or actions taken based on such results.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. DocPrivy does not claim any ownership over your content. We do not store, retain, or use your documents for any purpose beyond the immediate extraction request.

7. Advertisements

DocPrivy is a free service supported by advertisements provided by Google AdSense. By using the service, you acknowledge that ads will be displayed. Ad content is controlled by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocPrivy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, for any reason, without notice. This includes blocking IP addresses that violate these terms or abuse the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
